The trend setting Leopard catamaran range consists of the innovative Leopard 40, Leopard 45, Leopard 50 and Leopard 58 in sail configuration and Leopard 43 and Leopard 53 in PowerCat configuration. Leopard Catamarans include, high powered engines, electronics, hard top bimini, high capacity water and fuel tanks, electric windlass and much more! We also offer a selection of optional items, such as air conditioning, water maker or washer-dryer.

CONSTRUCTION

Robertson and Caine use a proven GRP sandwich construction with a vacuum bonded balsa core, providing high rigidity, impact resistance and buoyancy. The deck and bulkheads are bonded to the hull with advanced adhesives. Glass tabbing is applied in high stress areas, to ensure maximum strength.

The hull laminate is light and durable resulting in a dynamic weight-carrying capacity and excellent motion reaction of the hull, yet is also strong for peace of mind when sailing.

Our catamarans contain all the top features that sailor's desire, including blue water capability, great performance, solid construction, a superb anchoring system, excellent ventilation, high quality equipment, large tank capacities (standard) and a standard hard top on all models. Standard equipment can be enhanced by a range of quality optional items including generator, air-conditioning, water-makers and more.

CHARTER EXPERIENCE

In 1994, South African builder Robertson and Caine entered into an agreement with the premier global yacht charter company, The Moorings, to manufacture specifically designed catamarans for its charter fleet. In less than 4 years, Robertson and Caine delivered the 100th catamaran to The Moorings, with every one of them delivered on their own bottoms around the world: what better proof of their blue water capabilities? The range is now the backbone of the fleets of catamarans in The Moorings and Sunsail. You can place your Catamaran in the Island Cruising fleet, close to home and the Preferred partner of Sunsail in Canada.

In 2000, the relationship expanded with the launching of Leopard Catamarans to provide these popular catamarans to individuals wishing to own a Leopard catamaran with more upgrades, features, and options for private use outside of a charter fleet. POWER CATS

In 2007 Leopard Catamarans expanded into the growing power catamaran market with the launch of the innovative, economical, and incredibly fuel efficient Leopard 47 Powercat. This new Powercat became an instant success and was quickly adopted as the premier charter model in The Moorings Power Yacht charter fleet. Soon after, the Leopard 39 Powercat was introduced to satisfy demand for a smaller Powercat with same features as her big sister. In 2013, the new Leopard 51 Powercat replaced the Leopard 47 Powercat, and has already become a triumph.

SKYROCKING

Leopard Catamarans has grown significantly over the past decade as demand for luxury catamarans has skyrocketed. What was once a small scale business unit of The Moorings has now grown into an internationally recognized brand representing high quality, performance, and a style all its own. Starting out as one office in Ft.
